While widely known in the crypto community, dogecoin is considered more of a meme than a serious cryptocurrency. Dogecoin was created in 2013 and named after the popular meme of a Shiba Inu. The creators of the cryptocurrency used Litecoin technology to power Dogecoin.

  1. Okay 2 things I got from this video that makes me believe 2 reasons why Doge is actually better than BTC.
    1) infinite amount of Doge, nobody gets left behind. Doge is powered by hype.
    2) BTC has been all about powerful GPU’s, so in that sense, Doge is more economically friendly than BTC.

    Oh yeah and 3rd reason..

  2. With the current increase in the market I see cryptocurrency as ultimately becoming a reserve currency for banks, playing much the same role as gold did in the early days of banking. Banks could issue digital cash with greater anonymity and lighter weight, more efficient transactions

  3. Hoge Finance will be the store of value for the Doge community. It is deflationary and will work as a savings account whereas Doge Coin will work as a checking account. We will be looking for somewhere other than BitCoin to store our gains.
