One of Jerry Lewis’ children is speaking out about being cut out of his father’s will after the comedy legend passed away over the summer. “It was putting the knife in and turning it,” Anthony Lewis told Inside Edition. After Jerry Lewis died, news spread that all five of his surviving sons would be disinherited. They would not be left a penny of his estimated $50 million estate. “I was not surprised dad cut me out, but it shocked me that he cut out his grandkids,” Anthony said. #InsideEdition

30 gedachten over “Son of Jerry Lewis Left Out of Comedian’s Will Says He Was Not Surprised in 2022”

  1. I have to wonder if what he turned into in, "The Nutty Professor" was actually him in real life? As soon as that switch came, it stopped being a funny movie!

  2. Jerry Lewis was a rapist, narcissist, mean person! I will never watch any of his stupid movies again! He always projected a very nice funny guy and now that I find out he was Satan himself!

  3. This happens all the time, not just to famous people. Sometimes it's one kid get everything leaving the others out, sometimes that second wife out lives the husband and you know what happens them. All to common..

  4. As a member of the immediate family, father, mother, son, daughter, you need no invitation to attend a funeral. No person, living or dead, has the right to deny a family member of attending. It's your choice to attend or not.
However, knowing how Jerry was, he likely had armed guards stationed at the gate with a list of people to be physically blocked from entering.

  5. I remember that as a young non English speaking immigrant I never liked him, despite not knowing what he was saying….he just gave me the creepy vibes

  6. Many men sacrifice time with their families to build a successful career. This often times leads to the children having stronger ties to the mother. When Mom decides the mansion in Beverly Hills, nice cars, vacations isn't enough she acts out. They use the relationship with the kids to control the situation, which leads to divorce, which leads to more manipulation, which leads to parental alienation.
I know, I've lived it. My kid is entitled to nothing, will get nothing. I'm tired.

  7. This is an awful story. What a cruel thing for Jerry Lewis to do. I always felt something was off about him, something phony. I was never a fan.

  8. "He was hit with a belt on 2 occasions"
Ummm…. I lost count how many times that happened to me before I was even 10 years old

  9. WOW what a complete narcissist his father was. Not only to be so terrible when he was alive but to give the final slap in the face after he died.

  10. It's always so sad to see children that were so badly treated by a parent then beat themselves up about not having a chance to make things right, when they did nothing wrong, totally heartbreaking

  11. Patty Lewis was a truly great person and mother stuck in an impossible situation. I had a couple of baby sitting gigs for Jay and his friends, up in Bel Air, and got just a glimpse. What I saw, as a callow, college freshman guy, alarmed me. Without knowing specifics, I knew enough to worry about Pat’s safety. Real people, in my limited experience, didn’t act like that. His son has real courage. His mother would be proud

  12. It seems like so many actors of this era…..Jerry Lewis, Bing Crosby, Jack Cassidy, Henry Fonda, Joan Crawford and many others like them were narcissistic jacka$$e$. Their families took a back seat to their quest for fame. Their wives and kids were often little more than props…..who were tossed aside when younger and more pleasing replacements paraded by. Disgusting.

  13. Like I always say. If you want to get to know somebody always look at the parents and how the relationship is with their parents first before you make a

  14. Lewis had more then enough time to make it right, but it seems by many accounts, he made it wrong with a lot of people. Not only his family, but his lady coworkers.

  15. I'm not surprised at all. I was an extra in his movie "Hardly Working" in Pompano Beach, FL (1979). He was so mean to the child extras, yet ran Jerry's Kids. My 12 year old mind couldn't rationalize that. To this day, I still hadn't seen the movie.

  16. Sounds like his dad…… We all have upsets, get it sorted before they go…. Its not good something you can fix later.

  17. And did any of these boys come to their grandfather's funeral? NO! And by the way Patty's real name? Esther Colonico. Ask those of us who knew her parents! Read her book!

  18. I WAS BLESSED WITH THE OPPORTUNITY TO GET RIGHT WITH MY DAD AND MY MOTHER IN LAW MY DAD WAS SHEEPISH WE HAD YEARS OF GOOD HEALTHY TIMES BUT HE NEVER OPENED UP TO ME WE GOT THAT DONE MOM WAS IN A PERCARIOUS STATE A HUSBAND THAT DESPISES ME WE GOT THAT DONE BEFORE SHE DIED IM BLESSED IN THAT
