Now a days financial advisor are saying we should invest in REITs and stocks instead of buying physical properties. I agree it’s more profitable, but I truly believe this new way of thinking does not come from God’s blessing. We should own real things as much as possible.
Treasuries are yielding 4%-5%. Interest rates are still increasing, but might not be increased much further. Therefore if you can lock in a guaranteed 4%-5% for doing absolutely nothing buy buying treasuries, why would you want the risk and headache of real estate investing, especially with borrowing interest rates this high.
