As from my taught belief…mankind does not know the final days. In my belief, only God himself knows when that time will arrive for mankind. It may not come in my lifetime, taught not to predict or entertain the thought. The bible talks of certain signs of which appear to be reflection of the end times. But i can only say, not that appears we are living in the end times.
One of those "signs" is that the Jews, after being scattered into all the nations and hated, persecuted and, killed would be brought back into their own land(Israel) "Zech 12:3…in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people:,, most scholars believe the Israel is the fig tree spoken by Jesus,,,.Come Lord Jesus.

Just wanted to make a slight correction here.. The name "Palestine" keeps coming up when people speak of Jesus' life. “Palestine” (Syria-Palaestina to be more specific) was only created 135 years after the death of Jesus. During the life of Jesus, the land was known as “Judea”.

Great show. I connected with the part about filling that emptiness inside yourself. I try to fill it with love, as many do. It seems to work the best, but I think most of us will continue to struggle with that throughout our lives. Also the rabbi was so cute. She reminded me that religion can be a good thing. It all depends on the individual.
Although the show did seem to dissolve from discussing the news to pondering about the human condition. I still really liked it, it just sort of wandered away from the main point of The Point.

Labels. All labels are a way for people to hide from what their real thoughts actually are. I would love to see our conversations in this country and around the world where labels are not allowed. Conversations where people have to "say what they mean and mean what they say".
John Fugelsang is a good host and seems articulate. But a part of me still thinks, never has the word "blowhard" been more applicable.
Neither conservatives or liberals would ever select Jesus to run on their tickets. He is a political hot potato, and anything he said would be offensive to large portions of the constituency for both sides. Another thing about him is, he could not be bought or bribed to represent you or your views. Do I think it would be a good thing if he were President? Yes I do. I also think that most of us, myself included, would be shocked by the things he would put in place. We all have your own preconceptions about Jesus, and one of the things that he is famous for was in shattering preconceptions.
